Sustainable Agriculture Programs:(2004-Present)

TAPWA is involved in this development activity to encourage small and marginal farmers in the target area towards organic farming and sustainable agriculture practices. In this context, TAPWA created Awareness on the Impacts of Climate Change and Preservation of Ecosystems in Biodiversity Conservation with the financial assistance of Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India under promotion of environmental education and creation of awareness. The project aimed at creation of awareness on the impacts of climate change among the 200 beneficiaries of the categories of general rural public, farmers, youth and women SHG members. TAPWA also distributed more oxygen releasing and indigenous tree seedlings to the members of the SHGs, farmers and others for planting in their land holdings.
